Day 1: (Delhi-Amritsar)

Delhi - Amritsar. Early morning transfer to the railway station to board the Shatabdi Express train to Amritsar (air-conditioned chair car). You will be met upon arrival and transferred to your hotel. Afternoon is at leisure. Later evening visit to Golden Temple at the time of sunset and enjoy the experience of (Day Light to Night View). Overnight stay in Amritsar.

Day 2: Explore Amritsar

Golden Temple: - Morning breakfast at the hotel, later visit to the Golden Temple, which is also commonly known as the Darbar Sahib (Divine Court). It is situated in the city of Amritsar in Punjab. The Golden Temple is a living symbol of the spiritual and historical traditions of the Sikhs. It is a source of inspiration for all Sikhs and their chief place of pilgrimage.

Jallianwala Bagh: - After visiting the Golden Temple, visit Jallianwala Bagh, which is just walking distance from the Golden Temple. Jallianwala has a special importance attached to it with respect to India's freedom struggle. On April 13, 1919, on the auspicious day of Baisakhi, hundreds of men, women, and children sacrificed their lives in front of ruthless firing by the British forces.

Lunch: - After visiting both places, you have free time for lunch in Amritsar’s famous food places.

Wagah Border: - Then visit Wagah Border, which is famous for its 'Retreat' ceremony at the time of sunset. During the evening, armed soldiers, both Indian as well as Pakistani, fully decked in their uniform, enact a particularly hostile parade marked by lowering of their respective flags and closing the border gates. The changing of the guards and the ceremonial lowering of the flags are carried out with great pomp and fervour. Overnight stay in Amritsar.

Day 3: Amritsar

After breakfast at the hotel, later visit some more sightseeing in Amritsar.

Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum: - It was originally the summer palace of the first king of the Sikh Empire, Maharaja Ranjit Singh. The palace was later regarded as an exquisite museum housing old coins, beautiful paintings, arms and armour, manuscripts, etc. The museum depicts the rich history of the Sikh province and is a highly recommended visit in the city of Amritsar.

Durgiana Mandir: - Also known as Lakshmi Narayan Temple, it is a Hindu temple in the city of Amritsar. Resembling the architecture of the Golden Temple, this temple also has a dome and a tank, both of which are considered sacred by Hindu followers. Constructed by Guru Harsai Mal Kapoor, this temple is dedicated to the Hindu Goddess Durga. Besides, idols of Lord Krishna and Lord Vishnu are also enshrined in the temple. Located near the Lohgarh Gate in Amritsar, this temple is sometimes called the Silver Temple due to its carved silver doors.

Lunch & Shopping: -

Free time in the day to do your own thing - sightsee, shop, or simply relax and soak up the atmosphere.

Evening Departure: - In the evening, you will be transferred to the railway station to board your train to Delhi for your onward journey.
