Amritsar to Shimla Tour Package

Day 1: Arrive Amritsar

Arrival at Amritsar airport/railway station, drive to the hotel for check-in. After lunch, we proceed tothe Wagah Border to witness the prestigious and awe-inspiring ‘lowering of the flags’ ceremony. We have free time for our favourite activity. By late evening, back to the hotel, overnight stay.

Day 2: Amritsar Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, visit to Golden Temple. The Harimandir Sahib (meaning Temple of God) is also commonly known as the Golden Temple or Darbar Sahib (Divine Court). The Golden Temple is a living symbol of the spiritual and historical traditions of the Sikhs. Visit Jallianwala Bagh. Jallianwala Bagh has a special importance attached to it with respect to India's freedom struggle on April 13, 1919. Later, your trip will extend to the Durgiana Hindu Temple. In the afternoon, take a drive to visit Maharaja Ranjit Singh Panorama (museum) and Mata Lal Devi Temple. Later visit to the local markets of Amritsar to shop for traditional items of Amritsar. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Amritsar - Shimla

After breakfast, an early morning drive to Shimla. On arrival, visit to see local sightseeing. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Shimla - Kufri

After breakfast excursion to Kufri. Kufri is located in the southern part of the state of Himachal Pradesh, India. Afternoon visit to Sankat Mochan Temple and Jakhu Temple. There are ample opportunities in Shimla for sports. Riding in Jakhu, tennis and squash at the club, racing and cricket at Annandale, golf at Naldehra. Evening return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Departure

After breakfast, drive to the railway station for your onward journey.
